On 21st of October when abortion in Northern Ireland was decriminalised, Alliance for Choice shared the voices of real women and pregnant people.
In conjunction with the beautiful and poignant ‘In Her Shoes’ project, we present real quotes from stories unchanged and written by ordinary people who should never have been forced to make journeys shrouded in stigma and shame.
It is vital that we are trusted and supported to make our own decisions and that our authentic voices are heard. For too long we have been silenced. It is time to end the stigma and shame.
